Kea - Aguri Uno
Kea is the parrot which originated in southern alps in New Zealand. They are known for the most intelligent bird in the world. Kea have green body and sharp beak, and are sociable and friendly, that's why they maybe come closer when they find curious things. Maori people gave the name Kea, describe sounds of ''kee-aa''.

When I went to Kiwi Park at Queenstown during the last holiday, I saw Kea. Moreover, Kea came close for me, and then bit my hand. It was so painful for me, but became good memory of New Zealand. That's why I'm interested in about it.

ReplyDeleteI remember that you were bitten by a kea. My hostfather said that there's a tunnel somewhere in New Zealand where they've set up some toys for the kea to distract them and protect the cars!

ReplyDeleteI also saw a kea in Queens town during last holiday. Even though the kea I saw was wild, they wasn't afraid of us!!
