Wairua -- Hana Taniguchi

I choose 'wairua'. It is mean a spirit  associated with a person or thing, according to Maori beliefs. It refers to the non physical part of a person that exists beyond the body. 'Wai' means water and 'Rua' means two. So, this word express two flow of water.

some example sentence are

Her wairua is strong and full of light.

The wairua of this place feels peaceful.

I still feel his wairua around me.

I think this word is interesting because I’m fascinated by the spiritual beliefs and worldviews of different peoples. It is fun to know how people have same beliefs in diffrent world.
