Waka - Machi Kanada

 Waka are Maori watercraft, usually canoes ranging in size from small, unornamented canoes used for fishing and river travel to large, decorated war canoes up to 40 metres long.

I studied the boats that the ancient Maori people used for whaling in my New Zealand Study class last term. I became interested in Maori boats, so I chose the word "waka."

  3. Waka is exhibited in Otago Museum, so you should go to there to see it!!! You might be surprised because it is so big.
